My brother lives south of Baldwin a ways. He had someone come in and put up a 'kit' type pole barn that they bought. . (32 x 40 w/ 10ft. high sidewalls). (It could have been the same guy that built my brothers house. ) If you're looking for that type of set up, let me know and I can fwd. you his/they're names and references. We are looking for a 'regular' pole barn const. company to do the whole job, cement included at our place.

I hired an Amish builder located in Holton, MI. His crew came up to Ruby Creek (6 miles north of Walkerville) and did the barn. 3 floors, gambrel roof, 30 X 46 ft with 16 ft walls. Took them 6 1/2 days over a 2 week period in bad weather in December 2006. I can't say enough about their work and the quality of the building. I had a nephew do the cement this spring but they would have done it themselves if I had wanted them to. PM me or call me at 231 898-3862 if you want more details. I don't know how far north they would go.

They built mine. I'm happy with them. They build pole barn anywhere in MI. Bob is a great person to work with. He will do you right.

Steve,

Give Todd Benson from McBain a call. Great price because its just him and his son, detail oriented, very fussy about how it turns out. He rebuilt my pole barn after my fire two years ago, and when it rains and blows, and you are inside you can't tell how bad the weather is outside.
