I've been watching him all season. His footwork is terrible. He get's beat by old school techniques. Why would they extent his contract when his guy sacks Kitna at least 3 times a game? He might be OK in an interior spot, but for him to be an outside guard scares me. What the heck is Marinelli thinking?

He has been brutal this year, and pretty much last year. I know he is somewhat injured, but you cant use that as an excuse every game.

He has been bad and was not worth the franchise tag they put on him a few years ago. It says something about the depth chart when him playing hurt is the best you have. At least put him on the right side so he's not protecting Kitna's blind side. That would eliminate a couple of sacks and a fumble or two by the QB if he at least saw it coming.

Good point. You have a guard who can't move and a quarterback who can't move and guess what you have . More sacks than any other team in the league.

There's offensive lineman in the league who truly suck, but you can't compare their suckiness to anyone on the Lions O line. When it comes to sucking and pure patheticness, the Lions O line takes it to a new level.
