The south end of Lake St Clair has been great for me this year. Last Saturday my partner and I picked up eleven trolling harnesses(lemon-lime) with bottom bouncers. Picked up twelve last Sunday in the same spot.

Picked up 2 handlining with spoons near the Belle Isle bridge this past Saturday morning and didn't bother trying the lake .

Partner and I picked up twelve yesterday. Four by the Belle Isle bridge handlining z plugs from 5:00-6:30 a.m. Then shot into the lake and picked up eight from 7:00-10:00 a.m. on harnesses and bottom bouncers.

We were fishing just on the Canadian side of the shipping channel but still in American waters just north of the green cement range light.

If anybody wants coordinates, I'll be happy to post them.

Later,

Great job Hotwired, that is a big lake when your looking for fish. I hadn't been out targeting Walleye for awhile but I gave it a shot this last weekend. Not having any good reports, I went out looking on my own. Saturday I managed 4 on the Canadian side by the light. I probably should have started there early Sun. but I went to the Belle in 16 fow. The weeds were too much so I headed for the middle of the lake to explore. A couple of fish caught in the area but I wasn't doing much so I went back to the Sat. spot. Took a couple fish there but by 10 AM the bugs finally got the better of me so I gave it up. The lake was dead calm and those little pesky bugs were everywhere. I finally got sick of choking on them. Anyway, glad to hear somebody is doing good on the fish.
