The east and south shore docks (of Lake Ponemah) historically hold bass all the way down to T Bones and the marina. The west shore (up from the SW corner by the marina) will usually find some fishermen along the weedbeds and the woodline. Anglers typically target the Islands. The Island right near the launch is VERY SHALLOW on the opposite side. The side closest the launch is 10'. I mark fish in the deep water (8-30') straight out from the launch all the way accross to the otherside of the lake. Don't overlook the area just to the left of the launch. Virtually no one fishes there and it has both very shallow weeds and deep (30') water between the launch and the south shore docks. There are a lot of fish in the lake, but no one really "nails" them. The baitfish were in a north bay on Sunday with the wind coming from the south. There is a small canal that leads to another small and shallow lake on the NW shore line. Around the canal are weedbeds and adjacent to the weedbeds is deep open water (30-40').
