Got a late start but decided to brave the waves and perch fish Saturday evening. We headed south straight into a 3 foot St Claire chop and fished the last 2 hours of light with minnows on spreaders in 16 ft of water behind the GPYC. Managed 20 keepers 9" or better - I can't clean smaller fish. For each keeper we caught 2 smaller ones. Not a hot bite but enough action to make it fun.
