A man enters a monastery to join the brothers of God. He is told by the Abbot that he must take a vow of silence and he is only allowed to speak 3 word a year. After the first year the Abbot approaches him and asks him to speak his 3 words. The friar thinks for a moment and speaks. "Food is terrible" he says. The Abbot tells him that they will change the menu to his liking. Another year elapses, the Abbot again approaches him and asks his 3 words. The friar immediatly says "Room too cold", the Abbot tells him they will get a new heater for his room. The next year, when the Abbot approaches him, he tells him right away "Bed too hard". The Abbot assures him they will get him a softer mattress. The next year the friar approaches the Abbot and tells him "I am leaving the monastery". The Abbot says "About time, all you've done is complain since you got here".
