WALLEYE MIKE

I am taking the wife camping the last weekend in July. The last two years we went to Mullet lake. Real love the lake but might try someplace different. Would like a good place to take my boat for fishing (walleye preferred). Could be state park or private park.
Right now I'm thinking Black lake or Tawas city or maybe Lakeport. One downside with Tawas and Lakeport is they don't have a launch at the park.
Any suggestions are welcome.

Hey mike, try silver lake. I hear they have a good population of walleye there. It is near ludington.

ever try the upper peninsula, mike? great parks...on brevoort lake ,indian lake, taquahemon river, muskellunge lake, and not too bad a drive..could suggest others even further into yooper..all have eyes, scenery is great, pasties and jerky excellent treats, sightseeing wonderful and less crowds....
I agree with ST. DA UP is hard to beat. If you want to stay in the lower, I like Paradise Lodge (they have camping too) on Fletchers. Good Bass, Pike and Crappie. Not too sure about the 'eyes there. It's about 30 miles west of Thunder Bay, just in case you get the urge to try some Browns too.
