out there last night dropshotting in huron for smallies and on the way in stop on the canadian side to check for walleyes....third jig with spoon and wam walleye. It took three 300 yd. drifts to catch limit. Use your finder to see them all stacked up. Start at 30ft. and go to 50ft. of water. Chrome hopkins 1 oz. O'ya and also caught to sheepheads around 10 lbs. The fish you will see jumping (alot) are suckers.......My be I should start a guide service......:evilsmile

Rick and Ryan what he used is what I planning on useing the next time I get back out there in the middle of October what I am shoting for..I was going to call you but havent got around to it just yet, It's called Chrome hopkins spoon, there is gold and silver there are a few other brands like northland buck shot rattle, Cotton cordell cc spoon, Luhr Jenson crippled herring they should work good jigging in the lights.. If thats the case, wouldnt cugging be just as effective???? Not being a smart alec,

Chugging may be effective Ice fishing nut but these spoons flutter as they fall imitating a injured bait fish, compared to a heavy chugging sinker just going straight to the bottom.. Not saying that chugging wont work but Mike you know I am not much of a chugger myself because you fished with me enough to know that:lol:... Cya Slick
