has anybody ever fished kearsley lake [flint area ] ? want to take my son and grandson perch fishing and was told that kearsley is loaded with the yellow-bellies"

It's worth a try. Do you have a small boat? If you have a big boat you will have trouble launching it. There is not a good public boat ramp on the lake. I've done quite well on the bass there in the pass also. Good luck.

i live right down the road from kearsley lake and its a nasty lake, i wouldnt eat fish out of there.

There is a lot of little perch 6" or so and some pretty good crappie fishing .Make sure you take a small boat because the only public launch is not that great it is at the end of Pierson rd as you enter into the golf coarse.Good Luck
