Things were looking a little bleak earlier this spring with the wet conditions at the area. The first corn crops weren't planted until the last week of May, but that corn is already waist high (Prior field and old 5-12). The last of the corn (40's) was planted the last week of June but it has already achieved 3-4 inches in the first week. The buckwheat is going in now and is germinating within one week of plantings. If it was not for the rains and the temps the area could have been in serious trouble.

There are lots of goose and woodduck broods everywhere.:)

Great News and thanks for the update!!!

Having the Wahl Road fields in such poor shape last year really limited your oprotunities in the draw especially if you drew towards the bottom (an all to often occurance for my group  )

Glad to hear things are up and running smoothly... and if you hear of any of the work parties to do some maintenence please pass it along. I was able to make it to a couple last year to put the pull overs out and such in late summer.

Thanks again for the updates!
