Went out with my buddy Jerry, not knowing what to expect. We caught a couple Gobies, and tried using them for the bass, but had no luck.....
A guy about 20 yards down was catching quite a few bluegills, and we started watching him. I could'nt believe it,,,,, he was walking to the trees, picking off a fishfly, and using it for bait!!!
I'm here to say, that it works!!!! Jerry and I both tied on size 12 caddis fly hooks, and started using the fish flys,,, we put a real small splitshot about a foot above the hook, to get the fishflys down, and both caught our limit of "hand sized" bluegills in about 2 hours!!!!
We are heading back out tommorow morning at 6, if anybody is interested..... We will probably only fish until about 9.
I forgot to bring the camera, but will bring it in the morning to take a few pics to post.
A couple of bass were caught (not by us),,,, saw 3 pike caught, and one musky (he was to small, and released)
