I had a new string and cables put on my PSE Baby G force at a local shop. They fixed the attachment for the drop away rest. I shot about 75 arrows through it to stretch the string and then began adjusting the sights. Right now it is 1 inch low at 20 yards and high at 30(still working on 30). Last Saturday I went to my stand and set up my target and shot some arrows and was dead on at 16 and 19 yards(all shots have been with field points) Today I went out and bought some Slick trick 100gr broadheads and installed one on an arrow and its 6 inches low at 20, thought it was me so i did it again same area. Should I just move my sights around till it's centered? Help:help:

Are your broadheads and field tips the same grain. If so you have something going on, being off 1-2 inches from switching from field tips to broad heads is common. But 6 inches off you have something else going on. Check your knock point, shoot with your field tips again. Something has happened.

Don't touch the bolt that holds the rest on the riser, use the adjustments on the rest itself.

what poundage bow are you shooting? did you paper tune after the new cables and strings? your arrow could be to light of spine and be causing erratic arrow flight if it is a touch on the light side

just my opinion

Did you paper tune and walk back tune? Something is not right. BroadHeads will Amplify any small minor error in the bow, arrow or form. I'm Thinking if the bow is in Spec and you paper tune, and are using corrrect arrow spine those Slick Tricks should shoot good for you.

Was your left to right good? I think that is usually where incorrect arrow spine will show up the most.

If your an inch low at 20yds and high at 30yds using the same pin your nock point is to low (arrow rest to high). Paper Tune at 6 ft and see what ya get. You can make a paper tuner in about 15 minutes if you dont have 1. After paper tuning resight in, and go from there

Now, I'm no expert, but I read as much as I can on Archery, So if anything I said is wrong I appologize, but I Think I'm correct.

Last night I found the left to right adjustment was loose causing the rest to move up and down:rant: Then with the bow at rest i pulled the cord for the drop away with an arrow on it, it is not level it is pointing downward at around 5 degree's - Should it be level ??

Post the details of your setup. Bow, arrow details, rest etc. Many bows should have a level arrow when the rest is up. 90 degrees from the string, then tune from there.

it all depends, all bows are different. My Drenalin is nocked 1/8th inch high at rest, and tears paper in bullet holes and shoots awesome. I'm also shooting a QAD drop away. With a Drop away you want a level arrow at full draw. Paper tuning is how I set my nock heigth.

well tonight I adjusted the drop away so it is level at full draw, well i pulled it back and it broke the rest lift arm:rant: So now i need to buy a new rest. I think i will get a WB once less mechanical thing to go wrong.
