they have to find a way to run the ball. If they don't, the defensive backs and linebackers will stick to our recievers like glue, which in turn forces our quaterback to hold the ball longer, which in turn causes a lot of sacks. I really felt sorry for Kitna in that Philly game. They also must find a way to stop the other team from scoring 50 some points.LOL.

I think the Lions should have the right to carry a firearm to work to help offset the their lack of talent. Maybe just a small bore like a .357 would be good

Yes the lions need to develop a running game. This weeks game, da bears are very suspect at pass defense, especially the deep ball, and if the lions offensive line can give Kitna an extra second or two to stand tall in the pocket our receivers should have a field day..............we will see.....

Compared to the last game, yes they need to develop a run threat. This offense will never run for 200 yds in a game.
75-100yds rushing is a good day in this offense. Buy into the system and have faith in it.
The backs will get their yards off screens and check downs.
KJ being back is huge, he'll have an awesome year, as will Duckett when his ankle is healed.

And now we find out Greise is QB for Chicago this week. Rex was our best bet to win!

Greise is not all that great although better than Grossman.
All they need to do is get some pressure on him and he will make mistakes.
Kalimaba Edwards was not active for the last game?
Cant run to much when the other team is hanging a 50 spot.
They do need to be able to run to take some pressure off the defense though.

True, you would really need a lot of running yards to overcome what happened in Philly. But they haven't had much of a running game in a long time. Just think about it, when we had a running game(Barry) we had no passing game, now we have apassing game but no running game. Isn't it great being a Lions fan.
The loins would be better off with Grossman at QB. The guy just stinks...
Greise my just give da Bears a spark.
Im thinking da Bears should roll the loins quite easily. da Bears D should put plenty of pressure on Kitna, due to the loins still weak O line.
On the flip side the only reason why da Bears would not distroy the loins is that da Bears are missing 3 of their Pro Bowl Starters on the D. If they were healthy, Kitna would be running for his life all day. Still look for a Bears win.

I've been playing the new ps3 nfl game that let's you pick retired players. I've got Barry and Billy in my backfield...unstoppable.

I don't get it, good teams pick last in the draft. Lousy teams pick first in the draft. We have picked high because we are lousy. And we stay lousy. Then we pick high because we are lousy. and we stay lousy. Do we pick lousy players or do we pick good players and make them lousy? See where I'm going here? He wasn't a great coach, but I have the upmost respect for Bobby Ross In that he was the only coach who was totally honest when he said " do you think I teach them that". And still it continues, not one ex lion head coach has ever served as a head coach on any other team after leaving the Lions.

The Bears defensive is beat up you really dont want to face the Lions with a beat up defense.
