My young hunting buddy is borrowing a Hoyt Banshee this year. I think I've got it cranked up to 45#'s(I'm going to get it checked soon), he's shooting Carbon Express Thunderstorms at full length, with Thunderhead 85 grn BH's. I'm trying to get an idea on how much penetration he will get with this setup. I'm limiting his shots to 10yrds at live deer, just to be safe.

Are there any Broadheads out there that would be better suited for this setup? Whether it be smaller cutting Diameter, sharper, whatever. I want him to get MAXIMUM penetration. It just doesn't seem like he's got all that much KE coming out of this yet. He got a nice Doe last year, with lesser poundage on a different bow, but he got lucky where he hit it, back and high, ended up hitting an artery and the arrow only went in about 6"s, without having to penetrate any ribs, etc.

He is shooting consistantly, I just want to make sure that he is going to get the penetration he needs for a fast humane kill.
