Anyone near the City of Wayne

The city of Wayne is currently looking for ideas to develop Dynamite Park, right off of Michigan Ave and Howe roads. I have already suggested to the Parks and Rec. Administrator that an archery range much like the public one in Romulus would be a great addition to the city. I know there are many people from all around Rom. that go there. The other night there were 10 guys there and only 8 lanes to shoot on, that was at 7:30 pm and had been that way since about 2 pm.

Anyone in the area who wants to make the suggestion please call Kim at the parks and rec department, 734 721-7400 and ask for Kim Alexander and let her know you think this would be a great idea.

I emailed the parks/rec dept this message and it would be great for some of you other folks to do the same.

"I have heard through another website the parks/rec dept. is looking for ideas for Dynamite park. Myself and many other sportsman would love to see a archery range set up their. The range in Romulus would be a pretty good model for you. It would be very low cost, maintenance and it will get used often. Michigan is the #1 bowhunting state in the U.S. right now and the sport is always growing. Us archers that live in the suburbs are struggling to find safe places to shoot. Please consider this idea and if you need any help please let me know.
