McNabb: Philly hates him! He's on the downside of what was a good run (look at his stats, he peaked in '04)
Westbrook: A threat, his best year was last year. But....he's hurt. MRI today and he's officially 50/50.
Curtis: Best game ever was 105 yds in 2005. Speedy? Yeah right!

If the Lions simply win this game, I'll gladly go out and do the chicken dance right in the middle of the street, in front of my house.

Dawkins neck injury, that forced him to miss most of the 4th quarter was only a stinger, so he will be playing against the Lions. He will be a good test for our receivers to see if they can hang onto the ball after being hit.
If Westbrook is not 100%, it's huge!
I have a feeling that McNabb is going to have a tough day and will be sacked at least 3 times.
My prediction is 27-18 Lions.

18 is a funny score in football. 27 for the lions is even funnier.

I have this one down as a loss in my original predictions. In fact, the next win I have down for the Lions is against Washington on 10/7. However, Philadelphis is definitely a game we can win. In fact, next week Chicago at Ford Field doesn't really strike fear into me either. I was there last year against Chicago and we SHOULD have won.
Seriously how many teams really look all that good to you this year?
In any case, this game becomes huge now because we actually can make some noise if we pull off the upset.
My fingers will be crossed as I am driving home from Alpena!

At least he will play, 15-20 plays is what the coaches are saying. I doubt he'll "run wild" or even be a factor in the game, unless he saves Kina from a blindside sack with a critical block.

Dare i say....looking at their schedule with the way they have been playing so far....9-7, 10-6 is very feasible....:yikes:.
But then you remember they are the Lions, so 5-11 is much more likely.
As for the game on Sunday, the Eagles are just a very unstable and not very talented team..
Lions- 34
Eagles- 24

Philly's favored by 6, I am waiting to see if it drops due to all of the bets by Lions hopefulls. A word from a friend has it dropping to 4.5 on Sunday if the money doesn't even up. I will be putting my money on the Eagles at 4.5 Sunday, not 6 though. The qb situation in Philly is not that good at the moment and one game could change it. This could be an opportunity for both teams to prove something to the media. Westbrook has had this on going problem with his knees for the last couple of years and if he suits up he will be fine.
Philly 24
Lions 14
eagles are not the same team of the past few seasons. Passing game looks poor, should work well to the loins "swiss cheese" secondary.
And their secondary cant stop anyone, should work well to loins wr's.
loins 31 to 14 (or more)

Two things I have learned in my 70years. Never bet with the Lions and never bet against the Lions. They will beat you down either way. The other being, told to me by a bookie, which I found very true, bet with your pocket book, never with your heart.
