I'm heading up sept 28-30th. We'll be staying on Missaukee and probably trailering over to cadillac mitchell for at least a day. I've fished missaukee a good amount, but never past the summer months. I coach girls basketball and the season switch means I'm a fall fisherman again.:)

I'm looking for any thoughts with regard to pike and bass, and even walleye I guess. Tips for these lakes specifically, or just general patterns for later in the season would be greatly appreciated. I'm guessing some weed beds should still be green, but that's all I have right now for a starting point.

Thanks again

These lakes are loaded with bass and pike, I would try Mitchell in big and little coves, stop in at pilgrims village between the lakes and they will have more details and spots good luck.

The water might be a touch too warm yet but the very far east side of Cadillac is usually good for spec's............if the other fish aren't co-operating...........

My parents have a cottage on Missaukee, so I fish it a good amount, but only during the summer. For bass and pike, try trolling around the point by Redmonds Island (north end of lake) and along the drop offs in the SE corner of the lake. Walleye, well if you can find em, let me know. I know they're in their, but hard to come by. Maybe fall will bring more luck.
