I shoot 100 grain four blade muzzys and I love them. I am in need of some new blades but all I can find are replacements for the four blade 100 grain glue on/90 grain screw on heads, mine are screw on 100s. I have checked the big box stores but haven't had time to swing over to the local proshop. I have a handheld sharpener that is supposed to sharpen knives and broadheads. It has broadhead wrenches in the handle. Has anyone ever used this type of sharpener with any success or should I continue my quest for new blades. Thanks.

I also shoot the older 4 blade, 100 gr. muzzys (not the MX-4). I had the same problem and bought the exact replacements that you have seen. They fit the older 4 blade 100 gr. fine. A couple of years ago, they packaged their 4 blade, 100 gr. replacement blades seperate but I think that when Muzzy expanded their offering, that they tried to consolidate some of their blades/packaging. They still seem to fit fine though.
I have tried to sharpen the muzzy blades and with the Trocar tip, you can't get the right angle on the blade.

The blades that say they are for the 90 grain screw in and 100 grain glue on heads appear to have a hole in the center of the blade that the 100-grains as originally packaged do not. Have you noticed any difference in the fleight of these heads as compared to you original 100s.
Thanks for the reply.

REMOVE the blades and use a vise to clamp and use your accusharp.;)
