Does anyone shoot a Martin and what do you think? Specifically the Bengal. I have the opportunity to purchase a brand new 07 Bengal at a very cheap price. Just looking for opinions from those that have shot one.

That's all I have ever shot. I just purchased a new Bengal last December. I love my Bengal! I like the accuracy and the price of the Martin bows.

My buddy shoots the Martin cheetah. I know its not the Bengal. However the cheetah is awesome and I'm sure the Bengal is too, they are almost the same bow. a lot of people say it is one of the best bows for the money. Buddy was going to get a Bengal and couldn't find one.

I have shot a Martin for close to 10 years now and love it. Customer service is one of the best out there and there prices are outstanding.

Just got a Pantera over the weekend.
Was really impressed with its speed and no hand shock. Very quiet too.
I'm sure other Martin bows, like the Bengal, will be the same.:chillin:

I bought a Cheetah this year and I love it, took me no time to get used to shooting it. Fast, quiet, accurate and light. I am very happy with the bow to say the least. I understand the Bengal is the same bow only a little longer.

I just purchased a cheetah for my son , and what a great shooter it is! I have shot the Bengal , and its a sweet shooter also. I have a Pantera on order , should be here this week. It also is a awesome bow.

This whole line that Martin started this year are made in 3 pieces , a modular design to keep Machine expense down , and pass the savings on to the consumer.
there is a new Mpro cam out in 08 , some bows are being shipped with it now. It is black , and has draw stops to help fine tune draw length , give a harder wall , and decrease let off if you want. Great Idea ! I personally like a little harder wall like the Nitrous cams , but this will give you allot of adjustability if you need it.

Martin Makes a great bow.....have for a long time. Martin has probably the most loyal following of any company it seems......yes that includes Mathews! The Martin shooters are just a tad bit quieter:D. One of the great things going for them is that they offer the archer a choice. Dual cams, single cams, limb options, grip options etc, etc. Few companies have the ability to offer those kinds of options. You can't go wrong by choosing the best Martin for your needs.

I have been shooting Martin now for 20 years.
They stand behind their bows 100% too.
I shot my bow so much the vectrex(sp) string broke, splitting a limb in the process. I called Martin, explained what happened and they asked me to send them the bow.
When I got it back I had new everything, but the riser.
Bill=$0.0
All I had to pay was shipping.
Hard to beat that.

Well , beings that I have shot them for years , and shoot for Martin archery , I can tell you , they are by far the best company when it comes to a great , fair priced bow,Options for everyone young and old , and the big one ,,Great customer service .

Companys that stand behind there products 100% , are hard to come by in todays world.

I have a martin "pride" ten years old. Love this bow and no problems with it but I want a new one and will be testing bows after the season.

I love my Bengal. Shot a ton of bows before I decided on my 07 Bengal. I have a QAD Ultrarest, d-loop, and a scott release. It's deadly now!

I've been shooting a Martin Rage Magnum for the last 7 years. Short, quiet and fast! I love my Martin but my next bow will be Bowtech or Mathews.

I just pruchased the Bengal this past weekend. SO far, I love the bow. The quietness is what impressed my with the bow so far. Speed has yet to be determined. I was having trouble with the fletching catching, so I was getting some tail whip, but it was still hitting my mark. That was corrected last night, going to go shoot today. From talking with the dealer, the only changes coming up in the 08 model is different color anodizing for the cams and they are adding a draw stop. The bow covers a wide range of fittings. Smooth draw, easy to hold at 80% letoff. I will post an update as to my success tonight.

I have shot the same bow for the same length of time but my outcome is completely different. I could never understand spending more money on a bow after getting the performance I have gotten out of this one. That being said you have to put it into perspective, I do not shoot in leagues and strictly use it for hunting. Perhaps if you are putting thousands of arrows a year through it your results may be different, but for a hunting bow she is a killer. My buddy bought a bowtech allegiance this year and is dissapointed at his speed and accuracy compared to mine. Food for thought, find what fits and feels right to you and shoot it!!!!
