I know it was posted last year, but could someone post it again.
I had to replace my rest and now the bow's much louder. My assumption is that its that rest dropping.
Someone posted a method to eliminate that rest noise. Sure would appreciate that advice again..........
Are you referring to the Trophy Taker rests or Trophy Ridge Drop Zone?

Trophy Taker....sorry ;)
Originally, I quieted my down quite a bit by using a small piece of rubber weather stripping on the luncher arm where it contacts the shelf of the bow. However, the rubber eventually deformed and lost its dampening abilities.
I recently started using a Sims fall-away drop pad and I love it. Although it is pricey for a piece of rubber (~$5), it works perfectly. Now there is absolutely no noise at all from the rest and I can't see this pad wearing out any time soon.

I got it taken care of. When the rest was installed, it didn't bottom out on the shelf, which was padded. It was just hitting the stop inside the rest itself which was making all the noise. Some adjustments and I'm back in the ball game......
Thanks
