I was kind of curious about those as well. Not sure that I would buy them but they caught my eye.

I purchased some a month or so ago from Bass Pro. Got the ones with the blazer vanes. Did a few arrows at first just to try them out. VERY easy to do... Just take the old fletching off with a utility knife, clean the shaft up a little bit, put the shrink fletch on, and dip it in real hot water. Done. Was skeptical at how they would hold up or fly with my whisker biskit. No worries. They fly better than my original fletched arrows. I originally got them to fix any bad arrows but, I just bought another dozen at Bass Pro last week and am doing the rest of my arrows whether they need it or not.

3 Thumbs up from me!

They would be an easy fix if you were on a hunt with out your Bitz. Let us know how they fly..

My shrink wrap vanes were in the mailbox when i got home today. The are pretty much idiot proof to install but it comes with an instructional dvd explaining everything in case you need it. I put one on an arrow with a broadhead and took it outside to see how it shoots. Groups right in there with my factory fletched arrows at 30 yards, which is the max distance I can shoot in my yard. With shipping it came almost $18 for 6, which is what it would cost me to have them fletched at my closest archery shop, but it saves me about 80 miles in driving and I can have them done almost instantly. I would buy them again.

I would spend the money on a fletching jig . It will be cheaper in the long run .
When you ruin one , you have to replace the entire shrink wrap .

Fletching is a good (and easy) skill to have in your archery arsenal.

Ok....I have been considering these things too, I have a few arrows that were grouped a bit too close....I never thought I'd say that before...haha

For you guys who got them and put them on your carbon...what was the best way to remove the old fletching with out causing any damage to your carbon? With aluminum I didn't worry about it so much, but carbon is a different story.

Thanks

I just use a razor and strip them off the best I can, I don't really worry about it being perfect.

Sounds good, just didn't want to go at them and find out there's a foolproof way to strip them after I trashed one.

I just used a utility knife to get them off of my carbon shafts. Just be careful not to cut into the carbon. Other than that, they are super easy.
