Yesterday, I made my all day float. Was so excited I never went to bed. Imade my way over there around 7AMI was casting worms and rowing slowly. The bass and bluegills loved it. I hooked many fish and ever had a few double headers. it was quite fun for the most pics on my camera that I will post if I ever get them scanned. These fish really kept me company. The sunfish fought like huge bass. The bass were pulling out alot of line when I had them hooked. I found the bass in the deeper water. The bass were also slurping in the mourning but I could not find out what they here slurping. I hooked around 50-60 fish with a alot of bass and a few more gills. Some of the bass came on rapala's.

Now for the quote. You know, the one "A bad day fishing, is better than a good day at work?" It's clearly a lie, well sorta. First as many of you know, I have a float boat. In the first hour it deflated because of the coldwater. Way to little room so I spent alot of me day untangling and saving my pole from falling in the water. That as I was rowing back to the dock, I had just hooked into a HUGE bass. After releasing her, I was rowing and guess what broke? My oar lock and into the drink went the oar holder. So here I am out in the middle of the lake with no ability to row. I had to wave somene down, the very last person on the lake and literally got dragged back to the dock. Always have a rope ready when your stranded. Thank you to the guy that took time out of his little trip with his family to get me back safely.

So, now after I heal from getting extremely burnt, I am returning my boat for a flase product. Another reason why a Dry Fly Boat is 100 times better.

Sorry for the long post, im sorta real mad right now.

Well, I'm sitting here at work reading this and I can't imagine it not being better out there with one oar, cathing lots of great fish.

I think the quote is still valid, you just haven't had the kind of days at work that I have. Total boredom with a supervisor that watches every little twitch and counts the minutes you are gone to the bathroom. They pay me a lot to put up with all this, but I'm one who believes the quote to the teeth.
