And he has shipping listed as $50! It's funny how people put these inflated price auctions on there, but they must get the money from some idiots that don't know any better.

I was looking at digital camera's one time, and there was a Kodak el cheapo that would normally sell for $100 retail...This guy in an auction was doing a "Buy it now" price of $350. I sent the seller a message telling him that you can buy the camera brand new for $100 and good luck with his auction. He sent me a message back telling me that he's sold four of them for the $350 price already, so go to H-E-double hockey sticks! Now, if that is true...I'm in the wrong business!!!

for some reason some people value lures still in the box much more than outof the box. i understand it with old, collectible lures... but with newer, fishable lures, give me a break.... first thing i'd do is take em out and fill a few tacklemates with em!

I did a search on thunder sticks the other day and half were listed as "vintage" and priced way high:lol:

Heck, last fall I saw some Herters decoy anchors that were listed as "rare" when you could buy them right from cabelas still :lol:

I have bid on and bought some items off eBay. I will NOT pay any more than 1/2 of it's value including the shipping. Many of these new and used items go for more than what they can be had for in a local store. eBays whole concept is that you WIN the item. Don't let the item get away, you want to be a WINNER. LMAO I have seen it happen on items I was bidding on. But on the other hand, a bargain can be had if you know the prices. I can't imagine anyone starting the bidding @ $5000.:yikes:

Wow I need to get in on this, Wiggles,wee's,pee wee's, steelies, And mag Are Very collectable out west. You think people in Mich. are addicts?

I collect tots, Very difficult to find many. I've seen them sell for up to 250$ each nip!
Sometimes the sp's are in a "lot" of only 250 pcs.. EVER! High demand commands!

Many discontined colors where only made part of the year, If it didn't sell it didn't get made anymore.

There's a bunch of color variations off standard colors also.
Then you've some with stickers, Tiger tot, copper clad, hot rattles etc. hard to get some- both red and blue label's Very Hard!!

It's a tough game when many have deep pockets.
It'll sell for more!
