NOBODY wants to win this thing! Two blown field goals in the last two minutes :)

Ugly game but the Lions hung in there! Kitna showed he has as much heart as any other QB in the game.
2-0, it's a start!
Still tied for first place.

Ugly! But there is talent to work off of. Is that 2-0?

I disagree, I think both teams played intense football. Both Defenses were laying licks and that's where all the turn overs came. There QB was shaking in his cleats. Great game. Loved every minute of it and I have to admit, I figured they blew it though.

I'm running next to the wagon but I haven't jumped on yet. Maybe one more might convince me...........

No kidding!
This definitely seems to be a different Lions team.

now that's a defense worth watching. 2-0 feels pretty good. and Kitna is growing on me. GO LIONS!!

Interesting, for those who were saying that last weeks win was meaningless because Oakland is so bad, they lost 23-20 in OT today by a field goal to the Broncos, who are now 2-0. Surprising that they could hang that long with the Broncos.
That's two games now where the Lions have rallied back from either a tie or from behind. Harrington was sacked 7 times today by the Jaguars. I'll take Kitna, thank you!

Another close one, another win. A year ago these close games were losses. It is a different atmoshpere this year, a lot more intense. Defense played a He!! of a game today!

As many times as I said "the Lions are gonna lose", starting with Kitna leaving, I had a beer.
A whole sixer gone by the end.
Great, great game by the D! They stepped it up big time after the offense couldn't do squat. Anyone else think Mr Rogers had broken his arm on that hit to Jackson?
If KJ comes back to his rookie season form, I don't think you can stop that offense........GO LIONS!

The D looked good, the O line looked good and I was very impressed with Kitna! He wanted that game and did everything in his power to bring about a win today. A big thumbs up for the Lions this week! :)

Kitna has something that Joey will never have: heart and guts.

Maybe there is hope yet....the Lions played like the Lions, yet still managed to win.

If nothing else, the're entertaining. Actually, I'm more impressed with the defense than offense.

They must get some type of running game going. If the Minnie quarterback won his job, there is a sad number of signal callers to be had in the NFL.

I disagree, even though I had my doubts as well. The Lions are not going to put up 200yds rushing this year...ever. The majority of yds the backs will get are going to come off screens, over the top or in the flats or on end arounds. Who didn't like seeing a 4.3/40 WR do that for a first down? I knew Martz was waiting for it....but I would have not been so patient!
The pass will set the run up, and when Martz thinks the turkey is done...Bell/Jones will gash the defense for 20 yds.
It is unconventional, but Martz does know what he's doing!
