I cant really figure out whats going on right now, maybe someone can help. Yesterday I shot a muzzy three blade, G5 montec, and spitfire mechanical heads and I was shooting considerably low no matter what head I used. I am using 100 grain heads on a maxima hunter shaft. What could my problem be? I appreciate any advice you can give, thanks.

I'm by no means an expert, but I wonder. Yours shooting 100 grain field tips and they are hitting spot on? If so then I would say welcome to the club Iw as in. I couldn't get my muzzy 3-blades to tune for anything. They were consistantly off 4 inches low right from my field tips. I ended up switching this year to the Rage 2-blade mechanical, hitting spot on to my field tips.

My tech always says, "if your broadheads aren't hitting on something is wrong, either you or the bow."

Obviously, if your field tips are hitting low...your sight is not tuned. If you aren't shooting field tips, adjust your sight.

These are strictly amateur opinions though, I've only been into archery for like 3 years.

If they are grouping lower than your fieldpoints , then your nock or string loop location is too high . It needs to be lowered in 1/16" increments until your fieldpoints and broadheads group together .
Broadheads will wind plane in the direction of the point in relation to the tail of the arrow . If your nock point is too high , the arrow will fly tail high and plane downward .

yeah my field points are hitting right where i want them to. then when i shoot any broadhead i had laying around they all shot low. so your saying i should slightly lower my nockpoint? i mean that does make sense because it does seem like the broadheads are planing downwards. well thanks ill try it out, have a great weekend

Yes, move the nock, my buddy just had his string replaced, and his head were hitting higher than the field tips. Had to move the nock 1/2" up to get the field tip and BH hitting together.
