Before shooting this morning, I did a routine check of the old bow and found slivers along the edge of my upper limb. Needless to say, it's finally time for a new bow.

Took a drive up to Ted Brooks Archery in Kalamazoo and shot the Drenalin and Switchback. Both fine shooters but I decided on the Switchback because it's shorter and had less hand shock than the Drenalin. It's bit slower but the all around better choice for me. Besides, when you're used to shooting a 15 y/o bow, anything modern seems lightening fast!

For the record, I was going to shoot the Bow Tech but I over-heard that the shop wasn't going to carry them after this year.

So, a little late to the gate but I'm confident I'll be shooting better than ever in a couple of weeks...

Congrats on the new bow. Just shoot as much as you can from now till the 1st. You will get use to the new bow and be shooting just as good as you did with your old set up in a matter of days.
