Hey Mike, I should probably sell my Muskie stuff because you can catch them on Perch rigs, harnesses, crankbaits, spinners, spoons and just about anything else you want to fish with. What a great Muskie lake. The only problem is we are competing with them for the same food (Perch and Walleye). :D

You are not competing with the Muskie for Perch and Walleye. The main diet for Muskie on Lake St Clair is Sheephead and Shad. You see the Muskie after the Walleye and Perch that you have on your line. That fish is in trouble and is fair game for all the other fish in the lake. When the Muskie and Walleye and Perch swim side by side the Muskie can't even see them. They have to be above the Muskie to be in their line of sight. You see Bass after other Bass that have lures in their mouths and those Bass are after the Bass not the bait. Any fish that sends out distress signals will be attack by other fish. Mother Nature my friend. LET IT GO LET IT GROW. BOB

Esox I have a photo in my colection that shows a 43 inch fish that was taken out of my hand as I was trying to release it. It took me almost 15 minutes to get that fish back from the monster that had it. I took over an hour bringing it back to life. I know it lived as one of my client's caught it a couple of weeks later. I also saw it a few more times that year. LET IT GO LET IT GROW> BOB
