How late in the year does the Wheatley steelhead fishery continue?

Have the weekend of Sept 24/25 open and considering my options. Is the Wheatly steel fishery still on-or has it ended.

You can give it a try, but I doubt you'll have much luck in Wheatley. A better bet for steel this time of year would be off of Ohio. Most of those Wheatley fish move down to Huron and Vermillion area. Monster walleye in the mix too. Report back if you go.
