Well did anybody else get out?

Anybody try Paint Creek or Johnson Creek. Both of these creeks need our help in my opinion. Please check out the links on our logs pages to organization that are involved in improving these habitats for fish. If we all pitch in we can have some blue ribbon trout streams in our own backyards.

You hit the nail right on the head Steve. I fished Paint Creek between Dutton and Tienken last weekend and was saddened to see the amount of trash in and around the creek. The parking area wasn't much better either. I put what I could in the back of my vest, but there were some larger items. Count me in for a clean up day!

Its sickening isn't it. I even saw a old barrel in Johnson Creek.

Have you tried Thread Creek or Kearsley Creek? Are they fishable with a flyrod or should I pack my ultra light?

Haven't tried either one of those creek allthough I've thought about it.
