Okay area guys I need better wigs then I get from MC or Gander. Any chance you guys can tell me where???

BTW, The perch are biting and the big slab gills are with the perch on one area lake. And another area fishing hole we had to chase the perch schools around but there was good perch to be had.

This is the best time to be in Northern MI. Bird season in less then a week, perch fishing, bluegill fishing, the walleyes are turning on, Trapping season a month away. So much to do so little time.

Other than heading to Bellaire or out towards interlochen,if that shop is still there, I don't think there is another bait shop for milessssss around. The on at the narrows on Leelanau has some , but they didn't look fantastic either.

Yes the interlochen shop is still there and the wiggers were good last time I got them there....

Check with Cherryland Grocery. They generally have the best bait around, although I haven't been in there lately to buy wigglers. You might want to check into "digging" your own. If you use very many, it's a lot more economical.
