38-14, Patriots over Jets, I think they're showing promise again this year.

Wait, who did you guys think this thread was about

The team that's currently up 10-0 over the Raiders at half-time? I'm anxiously waiting to find out how they're going to give the game away in the second half... Looks like the Raiders kicker might be on the Lions payroll...

Make that 17-zip, CJ scores his first NFL touchdown!

This offense is pretty entertaining to watch. Only one major screw up so far, when Kitna threw a pick in the end zone.

Pat's did look good. Brady had all day to stand there and throw down field. Brady to Moss is going to be a deadly combination this year.

You know the Wolverines have hit rock bottom when there are jokes being made at their expense during a Lions game.

If they would have played somebody that was good, they would have lost the way they played. For the first time in years I see a glimmer of hope that the bottom is behind us. :hide:

LOL enjoy it Lions fans your team played the very worst team in the league behind the lions the 2 worst from last year they just flip flopped spot, 2 horrible teams still made for a close game. you have your one week to gloat then its back to the craphouse the rest of the season.

I can't believe that I saw a Lions offensive line give the QB some time to pass today! Still, they will be lucky to end the season 6-10.

Just a FYI, The Raiders had the #1 pass defense last year and #3 overall and Bell had 87 yards rushing and Kitna shredded them in their house for 3 TD passes. Say what you want, I thought they looked pretty good in very adverse conditions. We will see next Sunday against the Vikes. Sounded like Harington was on his back most of the day against them.

For that very reason the Lions were underdogs going in to this game. If the D-line can pressure a young QB next week and stop the run, they have a good chance against Minnesota.

Hey give them credit gave up a big lead and then came back in a very hostile enviorment. Last I looked Oakland is still a Pro Team not 1AA:D

The Lions will put points up every week, with the way they spread the field they force one on one coverages all over the place...you end up with Safety's and Linebackers on slot recievers and running backs...that's Martz's system and it worked in St. Louis...I love seeing Calvin and Roy running down the field in single coverage...almost feel bad for the secondary...If the offensive line can give Kitna some time I can see the Lions being a top offensive team....

As far as the defense, well thats the problem for this team going into this season, 21 points for Oakland not so good...Minnesota is not exactly an offensive powerhouse so we have to wait and see what happens...prediction...Lions 27 Min 17....2-0 and in first place...
