To all of us new to trapping, there is a Trappers Education Course being held at Millington High School at the beginning of October. Information recieved said you need to register by Sept. 25th.
I know there is no better education then getting out and doing it. But it is always good to get started off right. This year at Evart was a good start for me.

Thanks Dan

There is also a trappers ed 'book' on the Mi Dnr website now. I have it downloaded (PDF File) but did not save the link.

I believe this was a joint effort between the DNR and the MTA.

Perhaps someone else has the link. I think it was beaverhunter that posted the link on T-man.

Ed,

I believe this is the page from the DNR you are talking about.

Oops, I goofed. I did not see your thread here and put the DNR Michigan Trappers Education link in the general trapping forum.

I called the people today and they said registration is $25.00. It is a two day course. First day is Oct. 2nd @ 6:00pm and the second day is Oct. 9th @ 6:00pm.
