Just took a peek at Nafa and Fur Harvester Auction websites. Appears the frenzy over muskrats has leveled off and gonna be somewhere between 3-6 a rat. Guess they are predicting coons to be somewhat stable still large demand in the trim trade. I am thinking that for me only being a second year trapper to go ahead and put some effort towards coons and other long haired critters. Still gonna get some rats, there are so many where I trap. Man can't wait to be back out there with some steel.

A lot will depend on the weather in Russia and Eastern Europe. Hope for a cold winter! Good late caught coons should get a fair price and grey fox should start off where they left off. I'm still trying to sell most of my furs to friends and customers and get Fritz as much work as possible.

I'm glad I have a decent number of Gray's around me!:D
Looks like Mink took a decent decline as well as Rats.
That sucks.
