Fished Belleville lake from dusk till dark Monday night. The fishing was good. Reeled in 5 or 6 smallmouth below 1.5lbs on a mepps spinner. Right at sundown I ran into a school of white bass. I recieved at least one strike per cast for about 15 minutes. I used a buzz bait fished at the surface to make lots of noise. I didn't count but caught probably 15 - 20 fish. All went about 1 - 2lbs. White bass pull hard initially but seem to tire quick. All fished were released unharmed to be caught another day. Wednesday I'm going to try the Huron around Territorial road, but I have to be home by 8 for Survivor!
