Anyone camped Point Farms Ontario Provincial Park?

My wife made reservations for next week at Point Farms Park on the Lake Huron shoreline in Ontario. I can't find any info on the park. If anyone has camped there, maybe you could answer some questions. Do they have a boat ramp or boat docking. Any fishing in the area? I would only be taking a 15 footer so going deep on the Huron is probably out. I guess if they had docks I could run my 24 footer up there but again, I don't know if I could dock it at the park. Are there any interesting places or activities in the area? Any info is much appreciated.

Thanks Oct.1, appreciate your help. Darn, I don't see any boat launches on their map. Leave it to my wife to plan a vacation with no fishing. I guess I'll have to cast off shore to keep from getting the shakes.

I bet she has ideas of Moonlit walks on the beach or laid back watching beautiful sunsets. :o

Hi John, maybe you found this already, but once
you get to the point farms park website, theres these little icons way over on the left of the page, and here's what I found for you, since I was at work at the time and didn't have a lot to do anyway....

Fishing - Fishing is good for bass, rainbow trout, perch and pike.

There is no boat ramp within the park, but boats may be rented and launched at Goderich.

Sounds like you may still be able to bend a rod or two!!!!

Thanks Joe buddy! It seems like I always am taking the son to Baseball, Soccer, Hockey, Basketball or working on my honey do list. Don't get me wrong, I still get out fishing but not as much as I would like to. Now, I finally have a full week off withing nothing in my way and the Mrs. makes reservations to a park without any boat launches or docks. Anyway, thanks for the info. I'll be getting the 15 footer ready to go!!!! Nothing against moonlit walks or beautiful sunsets but I'd rather be fishing!!! :D
