Hey bearman,
My father used to fish it.I never have but I read about a guy that catches Massasagua rattlers up there so be careful(don't kill them they are protected)
I have been up there without my rod and always wanted to try it.

Bearman, I have a little information on the Cass River for you. Check out my web page at www.geocities.com/river_walleye (http://www.geocities.com/river_walleye)
Saginaw County has some excellent smallmouth fishing. Hope to see you there sometime. I fish the rivers here in Saginaw all of the time. Drop me an email if you want more information.....

I would check out the new book

flyfisher's guide to MI. They have stuff in there on all rivers, even those that only support warm water fisheries. You can buy it online at http://www.michigan-sportsman.com/books.htm
