Need update on Au Sable River

My father and I were wondering if anyone knows how the salmon are doing up there?

There are a few fish in the river, but not enough to fish for. Water is still warm, so any river fish will be lethargic.

I've been watching the temps, seems to be holding steady.

At what temp is it more common to see some action?

Kings will run better once the river drops into the low to mid 60's.

Rivers that have the impoundments on them are alot less affected by day to day temp changes and cooler nights. There are other factors that affect the spawing runs besides just water temp, like shorter daylight hours and water flow.
