Hello sportspeople.
I got out to my favorite little Oakland County lake for an hour this evening. I wanted to catch a couple of fish and see how my new digital works. Well, here are the results.

They were both 16" and about 2 lbs.
The first one I caught unfortunately didn't survive. It was weird.
As soon as I brought it up into the boat I knew I'd need the pliers so I started reaching for them. As I went to get my frog back, that sucker was SWALLOWING IT ! I could see his throat muscles forcing the frog down his gullet. By the time I could get the pliers on it only about 1/2 of the eye was even visible. I've seen fish take a lure deep. But I've never actually watched one in the act of swallowing it ! Well, out of the DOZENS of fish I've caught there, this is the first that I KNOW didn't survive. I'm sure I didn't harm the population any.
