Took my 2 sons, my brother and his daughter out Fri evening for some 'gill fishing on Wolverine Lake. We got a late start and just went out to about 8 FOW and threw in the anchor. We only fished for about an hour and a half but the action was constant. Ended up with about a dozen keeper gills and 2 nice crappie. Threw back about another dozen.

A great evening on the lake. I was well worn out. Since my brother is a non fisherman and was busy with the camera, I kept busy baiting hooks and unhooking fish. Even though my brother doesn't fish he had a great time watching his daughter catching them, especially the bass and afterwards he asked 'Wanna do it again next Fri?' Gotta luv it!

Wolverine has a good population of 'gills and crappie with public access on the north end off Glengary road.

Looks like a great time, are there any campgrounds around that lake?

dieguy, none on the lake. The closest campground is about 3 miles away at Proud Lake Rec Area.
