Realizing it's still the first half, but this is the first time I've seen them ready to play a game in quite some time. Yeah, I know UAB isn't a big matchup, but these are just the types of games MSU has been famous for just tripping all over themselves on.

Well, being that I'm an MSU student (on the 5 year plan b/c I like fishing more than school heh), I figure I'll chime in here. Season football tickets to MSU had been in our family for over 20 years...Until this year. MSU always starts out w/ a couple quick wins, then finishes out the season 1-whatever...You all know the drill.
That being said, after watching the game Saturday, I think it is clear the Coach Dantonio runs a more 'Saban-esque' no nonsense type of game (anybody else notice the defensive player get popped for a late hit and Dantonio pull him for a few plays?)
It'll be interesting to see how MSU winds up this year, I'm guessing 1 or 2 games over 500...

The Spartans are always fun to watch and I am loyal. This year will be no different in that aspect, but I am hoping Dantonio can get them into a bowl game. Heck, maybe MSU vs. UM in the Motor City Bowl:lol:
But I heard talk that the bowl committe was already looking at a rematch of UM and Appalachian State for the Motor City Bowl!
