SEPTEMBER !! The end of one season and the beginning of another !!

I here you Thunder! That's why I'm sitting in Indiana right now and at 10a.m. our dove hunt will start on the lottery hunt! May get on a few geese before the weekend is over. Thank God it's September!

IT'S HERE. open season on geese. i just patterned that imp. mod. choke i got from comp and choke thunderhead, at 40 yards with #2's and bb's anything that gets in that 3 foot circle is a MEAL PERIOD. next test is at 50 yards

Astronomically speaking, autumn does not being for another 3 weeks. However, fall really is September, October and November and Winter starts on December 1....at least in Michigan.

Also my favorite time of the year. These last two mornings really felt like fall too and were great.

For archers, this month is really critical. The really fine tuning is done with the shooting. Hunting clothing comes out of storage. All gear is out and checked and double checked to see that all is well, etc., etc.

Hopefully most have already had their rifles and shotguns out and shooting too.

Actually the new season is not here yet. I hate to be technical about it. But since Autumn Equinox is my B-day I love Autumn, Fall, or whatever you wanna call it. The first day of Autumn is Sept. 23rd which is my b-day and none of you better forget my b-day.

I just love it when I have to put a jacket on to take the dogs for a walk in the morning.
This month is for getting the dogs tuned up and in a little better shape.

Ten years ago I took the necessary steps to alter the calander dates of my school year. After going to school every September since I was five years old I no longer go. :lol:
