i just bought a NIB .300 weatherby mag. vangaurd, blued/dark walnut stock. for $450:D i can't wait to shoot it..

Congrats. the 300 Roy is a great round.

i bought the 30-06 with a very nice looking wood stock last year. very happy with it. it's a tack shooter even with factory loads. only complaint is the finish is kinda soft. fixed it with a nice oil finish.
you made a good choice on a fine weapon.
