What do you use ?

Just wondering what everyone uses to sharpen their hooks. I have a small hook file that I use. Looking for an easier way. Do those battery operated sharpeners work?

I have a battery operated one that you can have for free if you want.....:mad:

I have a battery operated one that I use if the hook is really dull and then touch it up with the hook file. Either way I feel that you still need to use the hook file to get a good sharp point.

I have a file that is about 3" long and has 3 different grooves in it for different size hooks. You can put a newly sharpend hook in the water and just by dragging it in the water can dull it.

Wally-eye I take it your not a fan of battery operated sharpeners :lol: It sounds like I should stick to my hook file. Hope to stick a few tonight. Looks like the lake will be calmed down tonight. Hope so.
