I hunt on a small land in Saginaw. I have saw four fawns, some does, and two nice bucks. However when the season starts it is a little more difficult to find them. Could you give me some pointers to lure in the deer for both archery and gun seasons? Thanks a lot

I hunt small plots of land as well. I don't know that it is as important to lure the deer in as it is to not pressure the deer. It doesn't take much to change the deers habits or to make them nocturnal. So just be smart about when and where you hunt. good luck

Good advice, take care in your entry and exit points. Keep your scent under control and be mindfull of the wind. If a setup isn't right, do not hunt it. Could alarm the deer to your presence and they can alter their habits. Point of interest; Deer are nocturnal creatures, they do not go nocturnal...we just catch them when they are active during daylight hours. That is an old myth.
