Pigeon River Camp Ground

Just a heads up - the sturgeon valley road camp was closed along with round lake - I am not sure what other ones. I at first thought it was fire hazard and no burn ban in place but was told yesterday it is well water issues. Do not know how long they are to be closed. Water was low on all three rivers.

Hitting that area last weekend of September with an annual fall trip. Different location every year. Never have camped the area before, but have been through there. A couple of the guys kayak, so is that available in the area? Plus a couple guys fish, I know that is good. Is there any place close that would have kings? One of the guys in the group loves to chase kings one day a year and I am trying to hook him up. Any suggestions?
