Anyone in the metro area stock these? I'd like to try them this season but am touchy feely before I purchase "personal" items like Bheads.

I have 3 that I test fired last year that you can shoot. I know Macomb is a bit of a drive, but I run a 3D shoot every Wednesday in Brighton if you want to meet me there to shoot them.
Otherwise, Hogwild Archery in Belleville carries them, or you can order them from www.meanvarchery.com

Thanks for the offer. MeanV has the best price around. I may just bite the broadhead and order some. I understand they are rather small. I'm shooting 85gr Theads right now but I have seen the damage the ST can do. thet also fly well I've heard. what was your take on them?

I thought they were pretty tough, and flew very well. I did end up buying Sonics and hunting with them last year though, just got a better group out of them. The Sonics are not as tough though.
Can't go wrong with Slick's, and tell Dan (Meanv) I sent ya.

I shot mine yesterday and I didn't have to move anything. They shot perfect, just like my field points :)

Hog Wild has them in stock, shot them for a couple of years never had a pass through shot with them. They are very durable heads and leaves one heck of a hole. Switched back to my Magnus two blade.

I shot 6 deer with them last year and had a pass thru on every one . They are a great flying b-head .

If you dont mind ordering Archery Experts, and now Cabelas are carrying them. Years ago when I started shooting Tricks it was nearly impossible to find them without buying them from Gary the owner.
This will be my 5th season shooting Slick Trick Magnums. I shot roughly 15 whitetails with them, and several bear and yotes. All pass throughs and quick kills. They are the best head I have shot bar none.
Great accuracy, huge holes, solid steel, and now the new German blades are deadly sharp. You will be impressed.
