Does anyone have any feedback they could share on these bullets?

Would they make a good deer round or would I be better to say with XTP's?
Thanks
Either one is just fine for deer. My preferred round in my S&W 629 that I use for deer hunting is the Winchester Supreme Partition Gold, wihich uses a Nosler Partition 250gr., with the Hornady XTP's and PMC Starfires, both in 240 gr. as backups. The Winchesters seem to give me he tightest groupings, and I've taken quite a few deer over the past few years using them.

Same here,... Hornady HP/XTP 240 grains outta' my 6 inch S&W #629 that's pretty much all I've used other than their 300 HP/XPT grain.
I pretty much stopped with looking any further,.. when something works as good as they do,... why look for something else. ;)

I agree that both will work.. XPT 240's have the best group out of my .44 Contender...

Hornady XTP is possibly one of the best all around bullets for handguns.
I load 300s and 240s in my Ruger .44.
Noslers great too but in my experience much more $$$ than the XTPs.
H110 powder and CCI mag primers are a can't miss ticket with the XTPs.
Use the Lee Factory Crimp Die and crimp hard in the XTP groove.

Jeff,
Can I ask where you get your XTP's? I'm paying almost $20 per 100. Noslers are about $34 per 250. Does Hornady make a box larger box than 100 bullets?
Thanks for all the replies

XTPs are usually available anywhere, I buy most from Cabelas or Midway. Gander Mt usually has them as well.
I think the .44s are usually in boxes of 50 or 100.
Hornady packages some of their bullets in bulk but not all. I can buy a box of 250 55 gr Vmax but only 100 of the 60 gr.
Nosler has some different bullets, maybe you are looking at a different style than I remember.
ALL bullets are MUCH more expensive today than even 1 year ago, my stock is pretty full so I have not paid for XTPs lately. If you find a deal BUY THEM! ;)
