So my jig was a little sticky tonight so I decided to spray some WD40 on the rotator section of the jig. It was set on 3 Fletch 120 degree. I come in from the garage put an arrow in it and it just turns round and round doesn't catch at all on the three stops. So I tighten the set screw in a little, nothing, a little more nothing, now it's as tight as it will go and the rotator still goes round and round.

There must have been a ball in between the set screw and the rotator catches that somehow came out. I pulled it appart and NO BALL around.

Does anyone know if I'm right on this. Is there a ball between the set screw and the block with the catches?

If you have one can you remove the set screw on the one setting you use and see if theres a ball in there. I got three arrows done and now i'm sitting here dead in the water!

You are correct there is a ball that goes into the notches to lock it into place. And I'm almost certain there is a spring in there to keep pressure on the ball. My dad has my jig right now so I cant verify it, but I'm 95% sure that is how it works.
