Sure was a bite in the air this morning and I see that the leaves are starting to change.

It just " feels " different outside.

Perfect weather today, nice and cool.

But to be a downer it's supposed to get hot again this week. Oh, the leaves are turing colors because of the drought....

the temperature this morning was something I jumped up out of bed and went to look for my camo to put on.LOL
No not really, the chemo and radiation didn't affect my brain that bad but it sure felt good and made me remember how great Fall mornings are. I love sitting outside having my morning coffee/plural while the sun tries to come up.
Always have a few if not more deer in the field behind the house,the sandhill cranes are coming in for the morning and the geese are flying overhead. Talk about heaven on earth!:)

Ran the dogs in the woods behind the house for the first time in 10 days yesterday and again this morning. It was in the 50's and the air had a clean, fresh smell to it. Good to see and a hint of all the good things to come.

44 degrees this morning. That is only 12 degrees away from ice! Damn, that felt good. No doubt we'll get more hot days but I have a feeling we'll see many more cool to chilly nights very soon. Hope we get some rain too.

It was 41F here at 7AM.

The early change is color in leaves can be due to the almost drought conditions that some of us have been experiencing this summer.
