I just had my bow string replaced on my bow and had to have a new loop installed. I had noticed as I have been shooting that the loop and the peep are not lining up. I first thought it was just the string breaking in, but last night I was shooting and realized that I could spin the loop on the string with my fingers. Is this souppose to happen? My last one was loked in place. If it is not souppose to move how can I fix it or do I have to take it back to the shop?

Needle nose pliers closed....the end inserted into the loop and force them open to lock the knots.
Many shops will leave them with a little play on a new string so you can spin it after the string is broken in to adjust peep rotation and lock it yourself when it's settled in.
Drop or two of lock tite on the knots doesn't hurt either.
Adjust the loop so your peep comes correct...let down gently and lock it in with the pliers.

I also had my string replaced on my Matthews. I was told that after the string streaches about 200 shot arrows that a half twist might be needed to put in the string to keep the peep alinged. Mine did not need the half twist but they did rotate the loop and tightened with pliers like kelly said.
Hope that helps

Using ther needle nose works but can be tricky as well. Watch that the Loop doesn't creep up/down the string when you are tightening. They have a tendency to do that from the pressure applied on the string.;)
